Kavitha has been in the space of Biotech for 20 years She has an MS in Clinical Microbiology from KMC Manipal and an MBA from IIM, Bangalore. She has worked across larger biopharma's like Biocon, Millipore before her first start-up Inbiopro. Inbiopro was in the space of Biosimilar development, VC funded in 2007 and was sold in 2012 To Strides(a listed Pharma Major in India) with a compelling pipeline of Monoclonal Antibodies. In 2013, she founded Zumutor, which has five major VC's participating in value creation in the niche space of immuno-oncology. Zumutor has successfully established proprietary Antibody platforms: INABLR™ The pipeline of Immuno Oncology targets is focussed in the NK driven Antibody space. Zumutor has raised 26.5Mil$ to date and continues to garner capital for Phase 1 Kavitha's other interests include marathons, triathlons, painting and reading. She is also an ultra-marathoner who has been featured in: Fortune 40 under 40: 2015 and in 2017 ET list of 40 under 40 in 2017 ET finalists for 2018: top 5 finalists in the start-up category Recipient of the Women in Technology: Top 20 @ India (2018) Recipient of the Entrepreneur of the year 2020: Bio spectrum
